Whether you’re staying in the Gaylord area or just passing through, a stop at the Call of the Wild Museum is a must. The museum features over 60 wildlife displays that feature animals in hand-painted backgrounds depicting their natural habitat. Animals range from small weasels to huge elk and polar bears, with a little of everything in between.

The museum also contains a Wildlife Theater and a Hands-on Learning Center that is sure to be a hit with the kids. Just look for the big cave-like building with the animals on top, you can’t miss it!
