Located in the heart of Midtown, the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit is a 22,000-square- foot former auto dealership that has been renovated to retain its historic character. The cavernous space is ideally suited for the host of public programs it holds, including art installations, lectures, musical acts, films, and educational activities for children.

Along with great experiences, the museum also includes the MOCAD Store. It features merchandise not found elsewhere in Metro Detroit including specialized art, culture magazines, journals, books and limited edition art t-shirts.
