The Royal Oak Music Theatre is not only a staple to the bustling city of Royal Oak, but to all of Metro Detroit as well. Music, Broadway and comedy lovers flock to the historic Downtown Royal Oak building for entertainment of all genres.

Detroit area businessman and film house entrepreneur John H. Kunsky opened the venue’s doors in 1928. Worldwide Entertainment LLC began managing the venue in 2004 and off-Broadway theatre, musicals and dance productions were added to the lineup.

Some of the most notable names to perform at the Royal Oak Music Theatre are: The White Stripes, *NSYNC, Billy Crystal, Robin Williams, Hank Williams Jr., Run D.M.C., Ben Folds and John Legend.
