Zehnder’s will be hosting their 21st Annual Snowfest on January 25-30, 2012 in the Bavarian themed town of Frankenmuth, Michigan. The event will feature a World Class Double & Single Block Snow Sculpting Championships, State of Michigan Snow Sculpting Competition, 100 Block Ice Carving Exhibition, and a U.S. National Collegiate Ice Carving Competition. This is definitely a family friendly event with a fireworks display, petting zoo and activities for children. After watching the ice carvers whip up their designs, head to the Warming Tent for the Michigan Best Apple Pie Contest and entertainment from the 338th Army Band. If taking in all of the sites and activities causes you to work up an appetite, you won’t be disappointed with Zehnders’ World Famous Chicken Dinner.
